But in the spirit of... something pleasant (couldn’t think of anything intelligent, bar "spirit of valentines" which makes me sound pooncey) I shall submit an application. See below (obviously written with Emily V. N.'s in mind, lol):

Pertaining to your recent advertisement for a Valentine's Day Date, I am submitting myself as a candidate for the above position.
I am a reasonably attractive male, medium height, with blue eyes and long light brown/dark blonde hair. I am well presented, clean, medium fit, as I work out on a regular basis. I would class myself as reasonably intelligent, and I am one who enjoys deep thoughts, reading, and active discussions on current issues. I also enjoy long walks on the beach... and pirates.
My interests include motorcycles, books on guns, getting ridiculously drunk on regular occasions, and being irresponsible as often as I can.
